Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss and her mother is English. She was born in the South London Council Estate, and then went to The Brit School aged 14. She earned her BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The stage she appeared in was many productions while attending school including King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. She's appeared as an actor for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. After that her role was Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role in the ITV2 comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe appeared in the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. After being a regular for the first two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe would quit the show following her appearance on the pilot episode from the 3rd season. The actress portrayed Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe and her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by a big family. She was the daughter of Patty and Roy Leggat. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty as well her older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. The four brothers of Ashley, each of them extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winters and baseball in the summers, meaning that she grew up playing in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley could never walk but she was able to dance. As she was two and a half, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in love. Ashley was addicted to dance immediately. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, at the top levels of competitions, such as tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and much more. Every major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, have awarded her the title "top Soloist".
