Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe came from a multi-cultural family. She was born in South London. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. She attended The Brit School when she was 14. She went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with an acting BA. She performed in various stages during her high time at school, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her career as an actor in the movie Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. The film's success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in six episodes Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi, the lead role on ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). She has performed as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama show aired at The CW for only two episodes, but it was ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After a period of two years as the main character she made a guest performance in the first episode of season 3. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he is also a part of the cast in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by a big family. Her parents were Roy and Patty Leggat. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty along with her older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey during the winters and baseball in the summers, meaning she basically grew up in baseball and arenas. Ashley never actually walked -she did dance, so at age 2 1/2 years old she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley discovered a love for dancing after she started the Baby Ballet. Ashley continued to compete through high school graduation, with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and much more. She was the top soloist in major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
