Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child, was born to the family of South London. Her mother and father have both been English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. She studied acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. At school, she was a part-time actor in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her acting career through the film Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances in guest roles in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared in six episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. The ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was a part of the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). Her credits in theatre includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 with The dramatic The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before it was ended on The CW. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen for her as Ashley Davenport. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons, it was reported in late May 2013 that she would quit the show following her appearance on the first episode of the third season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred as Tituba in the TV series Salem. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl They have also collaborated together on Salem and Iddo Goldberg had a part alongside her in the show on TV.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty as well her older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. All of her brothers were athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey during the summer and winter. Her childhood was spent in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley was never able to walk but she was able to dance. When she turned two-and-a-half she started Baby Ballet and fell in love. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. After graduating from the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip hop. Additionally, she was awarded best soloist awards at all major dance contests, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
