Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of a mixed-race family from South London in England. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss and her mom is English. She was born and lived in a housing estate run by the council south of London. At the age fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. She pursued acting studies in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. At school, she was a part-time actor in several stage productions, like King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances as a guest in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer is that of the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following that success her role was Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. The year 2008 saw her landed the part as Bambi in The ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe first aired in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama series was telecast in the US on The CW for only two episodes, but it was ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. The departure of Madekwe from the show was officially announced in May of 2013. After two years as the main character she made a guest performance in the first episode of season three. In the television series Salem, she played Tituba between 2014 and 2016. In June 2012, she got married to her long-time partner, actor Iddo Goldberg. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl they have also worked together on Salem and also he played a part alongside her in that TV show.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her parents were Roy and Patty along with her older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley lived in stadiums or baseball fields because her brothers, who were all athletic, played hockey and baseball as well as both during winter and summer. Ashley did not walk, but she was a dancer, and at age 2 1/2 years old she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Ashley continued to perform competitively through high school graduation, in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and more. She also won the top awards for soloists in every major dance contests, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
