Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, as is her mom who's English. She was born on the southern part of London Council Estate. She went to The Brit School aged 14. She earned her BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She appeared in many stage productions during her time at school, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe launched her acting career with the film Storm Damage. Over the past few years she has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's first film of debut came from her role in the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following that success she was cast as Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside playing Ollie. She also landed the part as Bambi on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in episodes two and three. Madekwe also played the lead character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment 2008. Her stage credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport in ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode series aired for just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it ended. In February 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. The departure of Madekwe from the show was officially announced in May of 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she made a guest performance in the very first episode of season 3. From 2014 until 2016, she starred in Salem in the role of Tituba. In June 2012, the actress was married to her long-time love, actor Iddo Goldberg. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, hails from an extensive Hamilton family. Her parents Roy and Patty along with her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's brothers, who are all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey during winter. Ashley was not a walker, but she danced. In the age of two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions for jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed from high school. Every major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the title "top soloist".
