Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a family of mixed blood. Her mother and father were both English. She was raised on the South London Council Estate and went to The Brit School aged 14. She was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an acting BA.
