Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, as is her mom who's English. She attended The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She appeared in many stages during her high time at school, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe got her start in acting with a film titled Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Following this acclaim, she was cast as Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured in six episodes Trexx and Flipside. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the part in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the three and two series. Madekwe was the main character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy released in the year 2008. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes at The CW, and was later removed from the air. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe's exit from the series was announced in May 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she made a guest performance in the very first episode of season three. She was Tituba on the television show Salem from 2014 to. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was also on the show with Madekwe in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty and her other siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were who were all extremely athletic, played hockey in the winters and baseball in the summer, so that she grew up playing in baseball and arenas. Ashley could not walk but was able to dance. As a result, at the age of 2 when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley was a competitor in tap, jazz and ballet in the high divisions. She was crowned the top individualist in all the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
