Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into a family in South London. The father of her is Nigerian and Swiss, while her mom is English. She grew in a south London council estate, and when she was 14, attended The Brit School. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned the BA in acting. She appeared in many performances on stage during her school days, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe got her start in acting with a film titled Storm Damage. In the years since she has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. Following that she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. She played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred in the 2008 comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. She was also on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, by David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes on The CW, and was eventually removed from the air. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was revealed that Madekwe, who had been a series regular in the past two seasons, had decided to quit the show after a guest-appearance in the first episode of the season's new episode. On the show Salem, she played Tituba from 2014 until the year 2016. In June 2012, the actress married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also had a role alongside her in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Her family included the parents Roy and Patty as well as four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely active, took part in hockey during the winter months and played baseball in the summer months, which means they grew up mostly in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley did not have the ability to walk. She danced. So when she was 2 and a 1/2 and a half, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley was a dancer who competed across all major categories until the time she graduated from high school. She competed in jazz, tap, ballet and pointe, as well as acrobatics. Ashley was awarded the best soloist at each of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
